Bangladesh 1980 and 1981
Two freelance photojournalism trips to Bangladesh in 1980 and 1981. The first visit was with a group from Tower Hamlets accompanied by members of the local Bangladeshi community. The second trip was specifically to work on the issues of aid and other aspects of the relationship of Britain and Bangladesh. This resulted in the publication by War on Want of 'Underdeveloping Bangladesh' by myself and Francis Rolt in 1982. The work also became an exhibition at the Camerawork gallery in London which then toured venues in the UK.
